Blog Of The Year Revisited

Santa was extremely generous over Christmas, giving Blog Of The Year awards to a whole slew of great bloggers.  At my home, he was the courier who left 4 Blog Of The Year gifts under our Christmas tree from some of my fave blogs:  Written By The Finger Of God, Biltrix, 1 Catholic Salmon, Raineyview.  A very honoured, amazed, humbled and excited thank you, my great blogging buddies!  Because of your kindness, I now have all 6 stars.

Here, once again, are the rules:

1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012′ Award

2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen — there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required — and ‘present’ them with their award.

3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012′ Award — http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/ and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)

4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them

5 You can now also join our Facebook group — click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012′ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience

6 As a winner of the award — please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award — and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…

Yes — that’s right — there are stars to collect!

Unlike other awards which you can only add to your blog once — this award is different!

When you begin you will receive the ’1 star’ award — and every time you are given the award by another blog — you can add another star!

There are a total of 6 stars to collect.

Which means that you can check out your favorite blogs — and even if they have already been given the award by someone else — you can still bestow it on them again and help them to reach the maximum 6 stars!

With great pleasure, I am very honoured to pass on the Blog of the Year Award.  First, I would like to send the award back to the 4 bloggers who gave it to me. I leave it to you to accept or not depending on how many stars you have or want.  So here you go Written By The Finger of God, Biltrix, 1 Catholic Salmon and Raineyview.

Some of these blogs won’t display or pass on the award, but I’m nominating them anyway because reading them has become an important part of my faith journey. If you don’t already know them, you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit.

  7. Terry, Congratulations– I’ll give you another star, so where are you going to find a 7 star image now? And thank you! I don’t know how to color my stars so I’ll leave mine that way. And thank you for helping me out in my discernment.

    • LOL! Thanks, Annabelle, but I’ve met the quota. I can’t receive any more. I don’t know how to colour the stars either so I googled until I found the award with the right number of stars….try that. And you’re welcome 🙂
